Feels like a moisturizer, acts like a cleanser. This cream cleanser is formulated with a focus on soothing ingredients and retaining moisture. It has the opulent texture of a velvety creamy moisturizer. This helps make cleansing an experience that helps dry, sensitive or post procedure skin rather than irritating it.
Clients with dry, sensitive, or irritated skin still need to wash their face. Traditionally, cleansing might exacerbate the situation. But, this creamy gentle sulfate-free cleanser can help. It gently cleanses and nourishes skin without drying it out or compromising skin’s protective barrier. It does not strip skin of moisture or its natural protective oils - which are needed for healthy skin.
A generous dose of Glycerin helps keep skin hydrated and soft. Glycerin helps prevent irritation, dryness, or moisture loss during the cleansing process.
This cleanser has 5 soothing and calming plant extracts: Silymarin (Milk Thistle), Oat, Elderflower, Jacaranda, and Cucumbe They help strengthen the skin barrier. These botanicals are also rich in antioxidants, which help protect skin against aging free radicals and environmental stressors.
Sulfate free - like all our cleansers. Harsh surfactants and heavy foaming agents are left out. Instead, this cream formula uses emollient surfactants and oils to cleanse skin, helping keep moisture in and supporting the skin barrier.
It does contain Coconut Oil - which is moisturizing and calming for dry skin. For blemish prone clients, evaluate whether or not cleansing with Coconut Oil will contribute to blemishes for that client.
Use post treatment or as a daily gentle cleanser. Especially for those with dry skin, to help clients who have a compromised skin barrier, over-exfoliated skin, etc.
KEY INGREDIENTS
2% Silymarin (Milk Thistle) Extract - active ingredient from the Milk Thistle plant that calms and soothes skin and helps skin retain moisture. This potent antioxidant helps protect skin from free radicals and environmental stressors. Research indicates Silybum Marianum may also have brightening properties as a tyrosinase inhibitor.
Oat (Avena Sativa) Extract - Soothing. Moisturizing, Antioxidant. Helps nourish and protect skin, especially dry irritated skin. Suppors the skin's barrier. Gluten-Free.
Elderflower Plant Extract - calming, soothing, moisturizing and antioxidant properties. Helps reduce the look of redness and soothe irritated sensitive skin. In addition to calming, this plant extract promotes hydrated moisturized skin that feels soft.
Jacaranda Extract - soothing and calming plant extract beneficial for irritated skin. Source of antioxidants. Helps support the skin barrier.
Cucumber Extract - antioxidant. Source of polysaccharides to support hydration and skin barrier.
Glycerin - helps prevent dryness or irritation during cleansing. Humectant helps attract water to the skin for hydration. Supports skin’s moisture barrier.
Apricot Oil - nourishing, antioxidants, and helps lock in moisturize for hydrated skin. Helps maintain the skin barrier with linoleic acid, which helps support the skin's natural ceramides.
Coconut Oil - helps leave skin feeling soothed, calm, and soothed. Supports the skin barrier. Locks in moisturize, reducing TEWL Transepidermal Water Loss. Potential antimicrobial properties. Beneficial for skin that is not prone to breakouts.
Glyceryl Stearate: glycerin + fatty acid. Helps skin feel softer and forms a barrier on the skin to keep moisture in. Helps water and oil emulsify to cleanse skin. Plant derived.
Decyl Glucoside – gentle non-irritating cleansing agent. Removes impurities from skin.
Jasmine - soothes and benefits dry irritated skin.
HOW TO USE
Directions: Apply to wet skin. Massage well into skin. Rinse with lukewarm water.
