Option to enhance with sought-after anti-aging actives: 1% Bakuchiol and CoQ10 (Ubiquinone).
This creates a Pro-Collagen Trio of HPR + Bakuchiol + CoQ10. A sophisticated anti-aging oil.
This trio improves visible signs of aging and reduces the look of wrinkles. It's effective yet non-irritating and suitable for sensitive skin.
1% Bakuchiol - anti-aging plant extract with Retinol-like effects. Plus soothing properties. Pro-collagen, reduces appearance of lines and wrinkles, and improves elasticity. It's also brightening, improves dullness, and helps even skin tone.
This plant extract has many of the benefits of Retinol with less irritation for skin.
It even has a calming impact, which can help sensitive skin and help make forms of Vitamin A like HPR more tolerable. It is considered non-irritating.
CoQ10 - Ubiquinone aka Coenzyme Q10 is a potent well-regarded antioxidant that helps reduce appearance of wrinkles and visible signs of aging.
CoQ10 levels decrease with age, so replenishing helps skin look more youthful. It promotes natural collagen and elastin. It also may have soothing properties. Considered non-irritating.
SCENT BOOST: Optional Customization
For those interested in customizing the scent, you have the option to add natural essential oils to the base Coconut Vanilla scent. Or choose Unscented.
Unless you select Unscented, the original Vanilla Coconut scent is part of all versions.
- Original: Coconut Vanilla scent from natural extracts: Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Extract, Vanilla Planifolia Fruit Extract.
- Unscented: This version leaves out Vanilla, Coconut, and any essential oils. It will have a light natural scent coming naturally from cold pressed oils. No scent is added.
- Rose Chamomile: INCI: Pelargonium Roseum (Rose Geranium) Oil, Anthemis Nobilis (Chamomile) Flower Oil. Plus Vanilla Coconut
- Lavender Chamomile: INCI: Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower Oil, Anthemis Nobilis (Chamomile) Flower Oil. Plus Vanilla Coconut
- Yuzu: a non-phototoxic citrus that brings fresh lemon notes. INCI: Citrus Junos (Yuzu) Peel Oil. Plus Coconut Vanilla.
- Blue Tansy & Blue Chamomile (serum will be blue): both an Active and a boost to the scent. Helps soothe and reduce the appearance of redness.
This option adds a natural Blue color to the serum. The color comes naturally from the blue Essential Oils.
INCI: Tanacetum Annuum (Blue Tansy) Flower Oil, Chamomilla Recutita (German Blue Chamomile) Flower Oil. Plus Coconut Vanilla.
- SPA CALM: Lavender + Bergamot + Eucalyptus essential oils.
INCI: Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower Oil, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil. Plus Coconut Vanilla.
HOW TO USE
Directions: Apply to cleansed skin in the evening. Always use a sunscreen in the morning. For sensitive skin, start by using once or twice a week, gradually increasing to every other night. Can be used every night, as tolerated.
Warning: Never apply to skin that is red, peeling or irritated.
*Because this product contains a retinoid, be mindful of wearing sunscreen daily. But, of course, wearing sunscreen daily is essential regardless of whether retinoid are used or not.
Scent: Unscented or the Coconut and Vanilla is used in all scented versions. You can choose Unscented to leavecustomize the scent by adding essential oils to the Coconut and Vanilla blend. For example: Lavender + Coconut and Vanilla.
Feel: initially oily feel, dries to a soft silky feel with a vanilla coconut smell.
Skin types: All skin types except Oily. Great for sensitive skin
Time of day: Evening.
Tip: Bonus use: Give your favorite moisturizer a Retinoid boost by adding a few drops, mix together in your hand, and apply.
