To use as an oil-serum, apply a few drops under moisturizer. It also works great as a face oil applied after moisturizer. How it's used depends on preference and routine.

Key Ingredients

3% Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (Vitamin C) – this highly stable oil (lipid) soluble form of Vitamin C is considered the “gold standard” in Vitamin C. AKA THD Ascorbate.

• Deeply penetrating - reported to penetrate better into skin than other forms of vitamin C.

• Support natural collagen, improve the appearance of fine lines, and brighten look of skin.

• Antioxidant - defend skin from environmental aggressors.

Wild Watermelon Oil (Kalahari Melon) – lightweight, non-comodogenic. Calms and softens skin. Helps skin retain moisture and reduces TEWL (transepidermal water loss). Rich in Linoleic Acid and Omega-6. It does not have a smell. 

Squalane – Deeply penetrating. Promotes soft, supple, healthier looking skin and reduces the appearance of lines. Silky feel. Emollient. Non-comodogenic.

• Lipids help lock in moisture and promote a healthy skin barrier.  

Jojoba Oil – deeply penetrating. Gives skin a soft feel and helps lock in moisture.

• 5 Superfruit Antioxidants: boost this antioxidant serum further with 5 superfruit antioxidants: Kakadu Plum, Blueberry. Passion Fruit, Banana, and Coconut Fruit extract. Non-comedogenic.

  • Kakadu Plum adds a second source of Vitamin C.

• 5% Licorice Extract: Brightening, Soothing, Antioxidant. As a Tyrosinase inhibitor, it is a gentle natural alternative to Hydroquinone. Licorice helps even skin tone, reduce the look of dark spots, balance oil, and reduce appearance of redness. 

Licorice extract adds a characteristic Licorice scent.

• Yuzu, a non-phototoxiccitrus that brings fresh lemon notes. INCI: Citrus Junos (Yuzu) Peel Oil.

• Rose Geranium. INCI: Pelargonium Roseum (Rose Geranium) Oil

• Citrus Rose. INCI: Citrus Junos (Yuzu) Peel Oil, Pelargonium Roseum (Rose Geranium) Oil

• Chamomile for its soothing properties. INCI: Anthemis Nobilis Flower Oil

• Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood: INCI: Santalum Paniculatum (Sandalwood) Oil

• Blue Tansy & Blue Chamomile (serum will be blue): both an Active and a boost to the scent. Helps soothe and reduce the appearance of redness.

  • This option adds a natural Blue color to the serum. The color comes naturally from the blue Essential Oils.

  • INCI: Tanacetum Annuum (Blue Tansy) Flower Oil, Chamomilla Recutita (German Blue Chamomile) Flower Oil. 

• SPA CALM (serum will be blue): Blue Tansy + Blue Chamomile + Lavender + Bergamot + Eucalyptus essential oils.

Scent: The original is now Fragrance Free (has no smell). See options to add an essential oil based scent.

Feel: Light, goes on easily.

Skin types: All skin types. Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate is one of the best forms of Vitamin C for sensitive skin, as it's non acidic, non irritating, non exfoliating.

Time of day: Anytime (AM/PM/Both). Vitamin C is an AM favorite that pairs well with sunscreen.
