Cholesterol - part of ceramide complex. Stratum Corneum lipids that promote healthier looking skin. Skin identical ingredient important for the skin barrier and keeping skin moisturized.
Phytosphingosine - phospholipid that is part of the ceramide complex. Calming and helps replenish skin barrier. Supports natural moisturizing factors NMFs.
Sodium PCA - natural moisturizing factor NMF, humectant, supports the skin barrier.
Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid) - humectant that helps pull water into the skin and improves moisture retention.
Squalane - strengthen and repair moisture barrier. Reduces moisture and keeps irritants out. Calms and may reduce the look of redness. Promotes supple soft healthy looking skin. Fatty acids replenish skin. Can help other ingredients penetrate into skin. Non-comodogenic. Lightweight and non-greasy. Squalane is vegan and considered oil-free. Not to be confused with shark liver oil or squalene (with a 'e').
